1) The pitch
A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch. Describe what stood out to you as important, what feedback surprised you the most, what feedback you think was outright wrong or silly.
I was surprised to learn that one if the people that commented on my last post was actually an ex-worker of the Collier Company. He said that the idea for the app could be a potentially good product. He even gave me some suggestions on how I could add some services to the application t expand the features. Most people seemed to support my idea and thought it would be a good investment.
3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
I made my speech more concise and simple to try to captivate my audience a little more. I tried to use lines that will get people attention more effectively. This way people are more inclined to continue listening.
The video came up as private so I wasn't able to view it. But it is nice that you were able to receive feedback from someone who has worked for the company and was able to give you good information. It is important to be able to capture someone's attention quickly before they write you off so it is good that you made your speech more concise with more effective wording.
ReplyDeleteHi Juan,
ReplyDeleteThe video is private so I cannot view it. From what you said, it is actualy incredible that someone that used to work for the company commented on your first post. Also the changes you made to would make it better for the audience to be able to focus on the product you are presenting. I am sure you did a fine job. Good luck with the next one and make sure to take it off private next time!

Hi Juan, your video is marked as private on youtube as others have pointed out. That is so funny that someone actually worked for the company. Just shows how small the world is and that networking can make so much of a difference. Though I was unable to see your video, it seems like you really tried to improve from the suggestions in the first one so great job!
