Here above is my elevator pitch number 1. What I am pitching is creating an application that is partnered with the Collier Company that will help please and maintain resident satisfaction. Since many apartment complexes are owned by the Collier Company, the app will include many apartment complexes here in Gainesville. The app will provide services such as an matchmaking, notification, subleasing, and appointment services. This app serves as a back up service for residents who feel that their problems have not been solved. This app will be called Resident Helper by Collier Co.

Juan,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your elevator pitch! I think this is a great idea and would be successful for a lot of Gainesville area apartments, not just Collier Company. I think this would be successful in college towns all over. Keep up the great work!
Hey Juan!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching your elevator pitch. You speak very well, which would make a great impression in investor's minds for your opportunity. I think Resident Helper has a lot of potential, especially in Gainesville due to the large amounts of students living in apartment complexes. Potentially this app idea could even work for home owners associations where people experience similar frustrations with services as well.
Juan,
ReplyDeleteI really liked your elevator pitch. I've been dealing with apartment landlords and lack of service for 2 years, so this is definitely something I'd use. This summer three of my roommates were scrambling in order to sublease their rooms. This app would provide an easy medium for people to sublease and perform maintenance. Thanks for sharing!
Juan,
ReplyDeleteI actually worked for Collier Company one summer and think your idea would be very useful. I assembled and delivered just about all the furniture that comes in almost all of the Collier Company apartments. So I have an idea that maybe could be an addition to your app or be apart of the appointment service. I realized that the furniture I built was not exactly solid or sturdy and would break easily in the Collier Company apartment I lived in. I think it would be useful to be able to report broken furniture through the app instead of having to go the the front office of the apartment.

Juan,
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an awesome idea and the elevator pitch was great. I think that your idea will help make people think that they are actually being heard if their problems haven't been solved. Apps are great because almost everyone has access to them (especially if you are in college or this age then you definitely will) and they are convenient.
